Her commitment to putting the culture forward in the card game industry has paid off. She is now the first and only card game creator featured on the Revolt series, “Bet on Black,” in two seasons.
“I’ve seen many TV pitch competitions but I rarely see Black game makers even though the card game industry is expected to have a market value of $21 Billion by 2025,” Rene said. I’m excited to show that Black game makers deserve a seat at the table on Season 2 of Bet on Black.”
Each episode of Bet on Black will feature innovative business ideas presented by Black business owners in the hopes of securing a grand prize of $200,000 in funding.

“I’ve been living and working in the DMV for nearly 10 years and have been positively influenced by the representation of Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in my community, “Rene said. “I’m excited to join these Black change makers in making an impact within our communities.”
